The Laughter Academy works to promote and spread scientific and cultural investigations into the phenomenon of laughter and its therapeutic applications within health care settings and public and private business. The Psycho-Neuro-Endocrine-Immunology - PNEI - is a recent branch of Medicine that has substantiated the direct correlation between the emotions and the immune system. There are in fact significant correlations between the nervous system, endocrine system and immune system. Substantial changes in one of them, cause changes in the other, affecting significantly the health of an individual.
